Complete Protection

I have been an owner of a coffee shop near a university for seven years now and each day, my shop is being flock by early buyers wanting to drink something hot before going through their own business. I make it a point to pay all the law mandated fees and taxes on time. I make sure, to serve only quality foods to my customers so I can have as many loyal customers as I can. But I have to admit, I did not bother getting a business insurance. The shop is well ventilated and there is a fire exit and a fireĀ  and burglar alarm. Then a patron told me that I should not be taking risk and I should reconsider getting a business insurance. That night, after closing the store, I log online and check the online companies that offers business insurance. And then I realize, the amount I will be paying for the insurance is reasonable enough compared to the benefits and security I will be getting from the business insurance. After getting someĀ  quotes, I sign up my coffee shop for a business insurance.

Venturing into Business

March 24th, 2009

When my sister resigned from her day time job, she was very excited. She had been planning to set up a new business. The type of business she wants to own was a sole proprietorship since I am yet not willing to give up my current job to join her. She got some web sites and e-business online for her marketing and promotional needs. She had been planning to change the ownership in the future. She made an effective business plan and daily operation strategies. Taxation was a bit tough but, no business can go on without it and she managed it well. She is ready financially and emotionally to set up her own business.

Working for yourself

March 3rd, 2009

They say starting up a business is hard and complicated. It required legal and technical matters to settle. Well after owning a business for fifteen years now, I learned that starting up a business can actually be fun and not dreadful. First, choosing the name of yoru business can be exciting. You can create a name for your business from almost anything you can think of. You will also decide what trademarks you want to apply in your business. Pricing your work or goods needs a lot of consideration, competition plays a huge part in deciding the price. Web domain registration can be complicated but challenging as well. After all that has been done, it will always boil down to one fact, you will have the last say in every decision.

Business 101

February 17th, 2009

After working for a computer company for nine years, I have decided to set up my own computer rental shop. I have the basic knowledge in trouble shooting and I have been computer savvy as required by my work. I have the list of the computer companies where I will get my units and I have the right amount of capital to start up with. But when I spoke with my godfather who had been running different businesses from restaurant to bar to franchise stores in the mall, I learned that there are many factors that needs to be considered in setting up a business. He voluntarily gave me a heads up onm the business work. From choosing the right location, finding the right supplier, marketing the store, promoting the service to hiring the right employees. He knows it all.

When my wife and I have decide to set up a business, we were both excited about it. The combined savings we have is sufficient and we can always get a business loan anytime we will be needing more capital easily since we both maintain a good credit standing. We have already chosen the busines structure and we already formulated an effective business plan. We were planning to advertise online. We already took care of the taxes to finances to planning entry into a market. We already anticipated the risk factors as well. We have our hopes high and with dedication and hard work, I know we will make a mark in the market.

Start Your Own Business

December 8th, 2008

I have worked for four companies in the last seventeen years and I have decided that I want to man
my own company. I want to be the think tank instead of being tag as an employee. I think that my work experience can contribute much to my new chosen endeavor. But I know that setting up a business does not only need the capital or the initial investment. It needs more than that. I must first get an idea on how I will run the business. I need to pinpoint my target market, how to do effective marketing, how to build a brand and promote the business line. How will I have a free and low-cost promotion ideas and effective selling techniques. How do I harness the power of the internet to simplify start up and increase my chances of business success. And of course, I need to come up with some creative ways to finance start up and growth. And basically, I need to take advantage of the latest technology to set up an efficient business on a budget. All of these factors should be handled correctly.
